Alan Hersh

CEO

Alan Hersh is a senior land use, entitlement, and development professional who brings decades of experience to Hersh Holdings in the areas of master planning, entitlements, and environmental strategy.

He has led some of the most complex multi-agency approval and remediation efforts in California, working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, California Department of Toxic Substances Control, Regional Water Quality Control Board, the U.S. Air Force, and local jurisdictions. Alan directed the project team that executed the first privatized cleanup of a Superfund site in the United States and played a central role in the entitlement and development of major projects such as Stanford Ranch and McClellan Park, advancing projects from planning through execution.

Zac Hersh is a principal at Hersh Holdings, responsible for investment strategy, underwriting, and execution.

He focuses on sourcing and structuring opportunities, aligning capital with operations, and managing investments through acquisition and development with a disciplined, risk-aware approach. Zac brings an operator’s perspective shaped by experience across real estate development and operating businesses, with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution, capital alignment, and long-term value creation.
